Occupiers want to empty West Bank of Palestinians.

Occupiers want to empty the West Bank of Palestinians.

Referring to the new military movements of the Zionist military in the northern West Bank, Samar Hamad considered it in line with a planned policy aimed at establishing a new colonial reality.

He added: “With these movements, the occupiers are seeking to expand control over vital areas and the separation between the cities and villages of the West Bank, to put psychological pressure on the residents, to implement a policy of gradual annexation, to expel the residents or to place them under siege and pressure.”

Hamad emphasized: “This operation has a clear message, the most obvious of which is the attempt to restore Israel’s deterrent power after repeated failures in controlling the West Bank and abusing the regional and international political space to expand its influence at minimal cost.”

According to him, the occupiers are also seeking to use excessive force to stabilize their desired equation; an equation according to which only the Zionists have the right to freedom of movement and the Palestinians continue to be exposed to attacks at any time and under any pretext.

Hamad considered the solution to confront this policy to be the resistance of the people in the settlements and camps as the first line of defense, and the second solution to expose the movements of the occupiers through international mobilization.

He continued: “Continuing these movements by the occupiers will not bring security and stability, but will bring more tension and fuel conflict. The Palestinian people will not give up their land, and these measures to bring about change by force will not lead anywhere. The occupiers, with all their movements, are unable to break the will of the Palestinians.

The occupiers raid various areas of the West Bank daily, arrest several Palestinians, and attempt to destroy and suppress them. This is in addition to the settlers’ attacks on Palestinian areas and the harassment of residents.
