PNN – The former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert considered the only way to free Israeli prisoners to be to end the war in Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Palestinian Information Center, Britain’s Channel 4 television reported today that former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called for an end to the war in Gaza and for the humanitarian needs of the residents of the area to be fully addressed.
Olmert emphasized that the Zionist regime is responsible for effectively meeting all the humanitarian needs of the people of Gaza.
He also pointed out the ineffectiveness of the current military approach in relation to Zionist prisoners and stated that military operations leave no hope for rescuing Israeli prisoners.

Olmert added: We must stop the war and return all the prisoners.
Also, Yisrael Ziv, the former head of operations for the Israeli army, strongly criticized the management of the war in Gaza in an article on the website of the Israeli Channel 12 television, saying that Benjamin Netanyahu had trapped the regime’s army in this battle.
Referring to the unprecedented military confusion in the Gaza operation, he stressed that the Zionist forces are carrying out operations without a clear goal and precise planning. According to him, this war, which is the longest in the history of the Zionist regime, has brought a series of defeats to the regime.
Ziff added that despite the many problems, the insistence on continuing the war without adequate planning and coordination continues, and this approach will only lead to defeat.
The Zionist expert stated that the Jabalia area has become a “graveyard for Israeli soldiers,” without any significant field achievements, and the army continues to repeat the same operations in the same places using the same methods, which is fruitless.
Ziff noted that the confusion in Gaza reflects the lack of a political plan and has trapped the army in an endless cycle.
He said that the Israeli army was being used incorrectly to fill the political vacuum caused by the lack of an exit strategy, and that Tel Aviv had failed to recapture the prisoners, overthrow the Hamas government, and implement the evacuation plan.
He finally emphasized that the only way out of this disaster is to immediately stop the war.
