Olmert’s sharp criticism of Netanyahu’

Olmert’s sharp criticism of Netanyahu/from Bibi’s “nervous crisis” to miscalculations about Gaza.

Speaking to Politico magazine, Olmert noted that Netanyahu is in a state of “nervous crisis” and noted that the current Israeli prime minister is seeking to avoid being ousted for failing to protect internal security.

Olmert severely criticized Netanyahu and said: He was disappointed. He must have been emotionally destroyed. I mean something terrible happened to him. All his life, Bibi had the title of Mr. Security by deception. He is Mr. Nonsense. Every minute he is prime minister is a danger for Israel. I’m serious. I’m sure Americans understand that he’s in a bad place.

As an example of Netanyahu’s wrong approach, Olmert warned that the Israeli Prime Minister’s strategic plan to maintain control over the Gaza Strip after the war looks like a return to 2005 when Tel Aviv imposed martial law on the coastal area.

The former prime minister of the Zionist regime emphasized that Israel’s interest is not in the security control of the Gaza Strip, but Tel Aviv’s interest is the ability to defend itself in a way before the October 7 attacks.

He also warned that due to the failure of Netanyahu and his ministers to define a realistic plan to govern Gaza after Hamas, the patience of Israel’s Western allies is running out.

Olmert, who served as the prime minister of the Zionist regime from 2006 to 2009 as the leader of the liberal Kadima party, stated that there is no conscious thinking in the Israeli war cabinet.

Public satisfaction with Netanyahu has reached its lowest point since the Al-Aqsa storm operation. A poll in mid-October found that residents of the occupied territories see the failure to prevent a Hamas offensive as a management “disgrace,” and two-thirds want anyone but Netanyahu to be the next prime minister.

In another poll, 44 percent of respondents said Netanyahu was responsible for what happened on October 7. Seventy-six percent want him to step down sooner or later. Even Israel Hum, a pro-Netanyahu newspaper, emphasized the necessity of his resignation last Wednesday.
