PNN – Referring to the misuse of the Zionist regime’s normalization of relations with a number of Arab countries, Oman’s political deputy foreign minister emphasized opposition of Muscat to the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, “Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa al-Harthi”, Political Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, in an interview with “Sputnik” news agency, regarding the efforts of the United States to normalize relations between Arab countries and the Zionist regime, said that Washington’s efforts to achieve its goals failed and even caused the Palestinian issue to become critical.
Emphasizing that Oman definitely has no intention of normalizing relations with the Zionist regime, he added: The important issue at present is not the normalization or non-normalization of relations, but reaching a solution for the Palestinian issue and granting the rights of the Palestinians, and this is a goal that the international community and the United Nations must strive to achieve, and by achieving this goal, security and stability in the region will be achieved.

Oman’s political deputy foreign minister said: Israel has abused the normalization of relations with a number of Arab countries to suppress the Palestinians, wasting time and not granting the rights of the Palestinians to form an independent Palestinian state.
This Omani official also added: Although there are relative differences in some approaches to regional issues, because each Arab country has its own interests and priorities, but regarding the Palestinian issue, the positions and demands of the Arab countries regarding the Palestinians’ achievement of their rights are united and unified.
Al-Harithi further emphasized Oman’s solidarity with the Palestinian nation and called on the international community to fulfill its responsibility to form an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Regarding regional developments, he also said: Muscat continues to have a continuous dialogue with the international community to reduce regional tensions.
