PNN – Iraqi security forces succeeded in identifying and arresting one of the most dangerous ISIS leaders after a massive operation.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Ma’uluma, Iraqi security forces succeeded in arresting one of the leaders of ISIS in the country during a 10-month operation to track his movements.
According to this report, the aforementioned leader was monitored and arrested by security forces after returning from one of Iraq’s neighboring countries.
He is considered one of the most dangerous elements of ISIS, as his name is included in the list of leaders of this terrorist organization and he began his activities in Baghdad in 2004. This ISIS leader was nicknamed Abu Alia and was active in the field of bombings.
Investigations indicate that Abu Aliya was directly involved in carrying out terrorist operations in various areas of Baghdad. During the cleansing of Iraq from ISIS elements, he went to the provinces of Salahuddin and Kirkuk and was later transferred outside the country.
