PNN – The anti-Iranian vote of the IAEA Board of Governors was passed despite the opposition and abstentions of 14 member countries of the council.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency approved a resolution condemning Iran’s non-compliance with its obligations with 19 votes in favor, three against, and 11 abstentions.

The United States, Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Ecuador, Ukraine, Canada, Georgia, Japan, South Korea, Morocco, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Colombia voted in favor of the resolution.
Russia, China, and Burkina Faso voted against the resolution, and 11 countries, including South Africa, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Brazil, Ghana, Thailand, Algeria, Armenia, and Bangladesh, abstained from the anti-Iranian resolution by the United States and 3 European countries.
Paraguay and Venezuela did not have the right to vote in this meeting. This resolution does not refer the Iranian case to the Security Council.
