Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemns the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh.
According to Al Jazeera, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation it was stated at the end of the emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of the organization’s executive committee regarding the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the late head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation emphasized in this statement: We strongly condemn the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh during his visit to Tehran. We hold Israel fully responsible for this sinful aggression.
In the continuation of this statement, it is stated: that Haniyeh’s assassination is an aggressive crime and a clear violation of international laws. This terror is an attack on Iran’s sovereignty, regional health, and security.
It should be noted that an emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member countries was held today in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at the request of our country and to investigate the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians, especially the assassination of the martyr “Ismail Haniyeh” by this regime.
