Osama Hamadan: Without a comprehensive agreement, hostages won’t be released.
According to al-Mayadeen, Osama Hamdan, one of the prominent leaders of the Hamas movement, said in his press conference today: Palestinian prisoners in the prisons of the Zionist regime have been subjected to the most brutal tortures since October 7.
He further added: while the Westerners show great attention to the Zionist prisoners, they do not mention the sufferings of the Palestinian prisoners. According to its reports, the occupation has sent the bodies of 225 Palestinian martyrs in three trucks since last December. The number of Palestinian prisoners has reached 9,500 since October 7 and they are under the most severe torture.
Hamdan clarified: Many Palestinian female prisoners give birth to their children inside these prisons and in the worst conditions. 200 Palestinian teenagers are under physical and mental torture in very bad conditions.
He said: We want immediate international measures to disgrace these Zionist crimes. The occupiers will never be able to see their prisoners except in the context of a serious and real agreement.
Hamdan stressed: Israel’s response to our proposal in May did not include a permanent ceasefire agreement and a complete withdrawal from Gaza. The Zionists are looking for an agreement to release their prisoners and resume the attack on Gaza.
