PNN – The Foreign Minister of Pakistan announced that his country, along with Algeria and Somalia, has requested an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the situation arising from the Israeli regime’s aggression against Qatar.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, said in a message: In light of Israel’s illegal and unjustified aggression against Qatar, we have called for a meeting of the UN Security Council.
He added: Pakistan, as a non-permanent member of the Security Council, along with Algeria and Somalia, has submitted a request to the UN Security Council to hold an emergency meeting to review the situation and address this serious issue.

The Pakistani Foreign Minister stressed that his country expresses its full solidarity and firm support for the government and people of Qatar.
Yesterday, the spokesperson for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning Israel’s aggression against Qatar, stating: This reckless Israeli action is another manifestation of this regime’s continued disregard for international peace and security and its policy of destabilizing the region.
Shafqat Ali Khan added: Pakistan has always emphasized that such immunity for Israel should not be tolerated by the international community.
Last night, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a telephone conversation with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, condemned Israel’s aggression and called it unacceptable, emphasizing: Pakistan stands by Qatar like a mountain.
