Pakistan called the members of the Shanghai Organization to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza

PNN – At the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Prime Minister of Pakistan demanded an end to the war by condemning the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians and called the Shanghai members to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Pakistan National TV, during a speech at the 24th summit of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Astana, Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the accession of Belarus as a new official member of this organization.

He also announced Pakistan’s readiness to host the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Islamabad on October 15 and 16.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, announcing his country’s support for the proposal to create an alternative funding mechanism for the stopped projects, said: The Pakistan-China Economic Corridor project complements the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s vision of regional connectivity and economic interaction.

Emphasizing Pakistan’s strong commitment to help achieve the common goals of Shanghai and mutual cooperation in the economic, social, security and regional communication fields, Shahbaz Sharif said that we all should play our role in accordance with the spirit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Charter.

Referring to the situation in Afghanistan and the common concerns of the member countries of the Shanghai Organization in this regard, he called for the constructive interaction of the international community with the interim government of Afghanistan and added: Terrorism is a big threat to all of us, so the rulers of Afghanistan should not allow terrorists to use the territory of this country against other countries.

Emphasizing the support of oppressed nations and a united voice to save them from the occupation regimes, the Prime Minister of Pakistan said: Palestine is the witness of the most heinous occupation and oppression by Israel.

He added: While condemning Israel’s crimes against Palestinians, members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization should demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and stop the war against the oppressed people of Gaza.
