The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Islamabad announced in a controversial statement: This action, which took place in front of some of the embassies of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, including Pakistan, is considered a provocative act and a deliberate act of Islamophobia and has hurt the feelings of many Muslims around the world. ist.

According to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, under the title of freedom of speech and belief, such actions cannot be overlooked.

Added to this statement: Pakistan believes that freedom of expression is accompanied by responsibility; Therefore, governments should actively prevent racist and Islamophobic actions that lead to religious hatred.

It should be mentioned that on Saturday, “Edwin Wagensold”, the leader of an extremist party in the Netherlands, in continuation of insulting the Holy Quran, tore copies of this holy book in front of the embassies of several countries in Lahore.

During the last month, Muslims living in different cities of the Netherlands participated in demonstrations organized by Islamic organizations in the city of The Hague. These demonstrations were held against anti-Islamic and anti-Islamic measures in Europe, including against the act of burning the Koran.

The protestors carried copies of the Quran and gathered in the square of the real city of Lahore. Demonstrators also moved towards the embassies of Denmark and Sweden. They had signs on which was written: The Qur’an gives me light to guide me, fire cannot burn the sun and I love the Qur’an.
