PNN – Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry announced that the defense agreement signed with Riyadh will not be against any country.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Sputnik, Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan emphasized that the defense agreement signed between the country and Saudi Arabia will not be used against any other country.
He added: This agreement was signed in order to strengthen peace and security in the region and the world. Defense cooperation between the two countries has been ongoing since the 1960s, and this agreement was signed in line with this cooperation.

Recently, Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif announced that, based on the defense agreement signed with Riyadh, Pakistan’s nuclear program will be made available to Saudi Arabia if necessary.
In response to a question about whether other Arab countries could be added to this agreement, he said: It is too early to answer this question, but I can definitely say that the paths are not closed. It is the right of countries and nations, especially Islamic regions, to cooperate with each other to defend their lands.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman signed a joint strategic defense agreement between the two countries in the presence of Pakistani Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif.
According to the “WAS” report, this agreement was concluded within the framework of “historical cooperation” between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and in light of the bonds of brotherhood, Islamic solidarity, and based on common strategic interests and defense cooperation between the two countries.
