Pakistan: India and Afghanistan aligned in proxy war against Islamabad

Islamabad

PNN – Pakistan’s Defense Minister claimed in a statement that India and Afghanistan are aligned in a proxy war against Islamabad.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, in a sharp statement about the deteriorating security situation in the country, described the recent terrorist attacks as the result of a “proxy war.”

The Pakistani Defense Minister claimed that India, in collaboration with the Taliban government in Kabul, had organized this battle against Pakistan.

Referring to the recent explosion at a Shiite mosque in Islamabad, Khawaja Asif emphasized that the Taliban government’s inattention to curbing armed groups has led to the penetration of “all branches of terrorism” into Pakistani soil. He added: The word ‘collusion’ is a more accurate description of the Taliban’s current behavior towards these groups.

The Pakistani Defense Minister stated that the Taliban has complete control over the entire geography of Afghanistan, so the responsibility for any misuse of the country’s territory by armed groups lies directly with the group.

Repeating his previous threats, he stated: If the Taliban government cannot guarantee peace, Pakistan will have no hesitation in targeting terrorist sanctuaries inside Afghan territory.

These explicit warnings come at a time when Taliban officials have consistently denied Islamabad’s accusations. Kabul, denying the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan, insists that Pakistan should not blame its “security failures and inability to ensure its internal security” on its neighbors.
