Pakistan reiterates its strong commitment to expanding engagement with Iran.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, a special meeting on Iran-Pakistan relations was held today in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
In this meeting, existing bilateral cooperation in various fields, reviewing and identifying new ways to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with Iran, were discussed.
Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, said that the country has a strong commitment to expanding interactions with Iran in various sectors as well as priority areas.
Today’s meeting was attended by Pakistan’s Oil Minister, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, senior officials of the Interior Ministry, Foreign Affairs Ministry, and the National Revenue Agency of Pakistan.
