Pakistan tests indigenous 600 km range cruise missile.

The statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations Office today stated: The Timur missile, which is equipped with an advanced navigation and guidance system, is designed to fly at very low altitudes, allowing it to effectively evade enemy air and missile defense systems.

Pakistan considers the test of this indigenous system as another important milestone in the advancement of its aerospace and defense capabilities, and announced that the Timur air-launched cruise missile is capable of tracking and destroying enemy land and sea targets with high accuracy at a range of 600 kilometers, carrying a conventional warhead.

It is worth noting that the Pakistan Air Force has taken steps towards achieving technological self-sufficiency and the production of indigenous systems over the past decade.

Even though Pakistan also uses Chinese systems and imported military equipment from this country, it has also continued its domestic efforts to localize its war needs.

The President, Prime Minister, and Air Force Commander of Pakistan congratulated the armed forces and its people on the successful test of the indigenous missile system.
