Pakistan to America: The government of Islamabad will not submit to foreign dictates

PNN – The spokesperson of Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry stressed that Islamabad will not submit to foreign dictates in response to America’s claim about fraud in its country’s elections.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, referring to the statements of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the elections in Pakistan, said that no one can give orders to Islamabad, which has independent sovereignty.

“Matthew Miller,” the spokesperson of the US State Department, previously said that any claim related to interference or fraud in Pakistan’s elections should be thoroughly and transparently investigated based on the laws and practices of this country.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan emphasized in a conversation with reporters that the government of Islamabad will not submit to foreign dictates.

The Election Commission and the Government of Pakistan rejected any allegations of fraud in the country’s elections and asked the candidates and political parties to pursue their complaints through legal processes.

Earlier, nearly 35 Democratic members of the American Congress had written a letter to the president and the foreign minister of this country asking them not to recognize the future government of Pakistan.

These statements are while the 16th term of the National Assembly of Pakistan started its work with the swearing-in ceremony of the elected representatives.

Shahbaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Maulana Fazal Rehman and some others were among the politicians who took oath amid the protests of Imran Khan’s supporters.
