Pakistan: We do not approve of America’s faulty actions’
Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, speaking to reporters, clarified that Pakistan has friendly and good relations with the United States, but this does not mean supporting any wrongdoing by the country.
Referring to the recent US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, he said: “We have a clear position on this issue and have issued a strong statement condemning these attacks.”
The Pakistani Foreign Minister stated that by directly attacking three Iranian nuclear sites, the US government has broken the 45-year tradition of not directly attacking nuclear facilities.
Ishaq Dar also emphasized that Pakistan had predicted that Iran would not remain silent in the face of these attacks, so it targeted the US base in Qatar and emerged from this crisis with dignity.
He said: “In a situation where global crises have increased, countries should take a position based on moral principles and international laws and not based on fleeting expediencies.”
