Pakistan: We respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran

PNN – In a statement, Islamabad claimed that it only targeted the positions of the terrorist group in Iran and fully respects the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, following the publication of news about Pakistan’s attack on Iranian soil, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan called Iran a brotherly country in its initial reaction and said that it “fully respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran”.

Alireza Marhamati, Deputy Security Governor of Sistan and Baluchistan, stated this morning: “As a result of Pakistan’s missile attack on a village in Iran, three women and four children of non-Iranian nationals have been killed.”

The website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan said in a statement regarding the attack on Iranian soil: “This morning, Pakistan carried out a series of precise, well-coordinated and targeted military attacks against terrorist hideouts in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan province.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan says that in the attack on Iranian soil, the group known as Sarmchar, a term used to refer to the Baloch armed forces, has been targeted.

In this statement, the aim of the attack is “to protect and defend Pakistan’s national security against all threats”.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan went on to emphasize that “it has great respect and interest”, and said: “We always emphasize dialogue and cooperation to deal with common challenges, including the threat of terrorism, and we continue to try to find common solutions.”

In the wake of this morning’s attack by Pakistan on a border village near Saravan in Sistan and Baluchistan province, an informed official announced: Iran demands an immediate explanation from the Pakistani authorities about this incident.
