The spokesperson of Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry added: We are in favor of peace, however, we will not participate in the Ukraine peace meeting due to planned issues and a host of other factors.
According to reports, the main talks in this meeting, which is scheduled to be held next week in Switzerland, will be based on the peace plan of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Russia has already rejected this plan.
Earlier, Russia and China announced that they will not participate in this meeting.
Switzerland plans to hold a meeting on Ukraine on June 15 and 16. The Swiss Foreign Ministry had previously announced that Bern invited more than 160 delegations to this conference, including the members of the Group of 7, the Group of 20 and the member countries of the “BRICS” group.
Meanwhile, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Russian Kremlin Palace, said earlier: The Swiss meeting on Ukraine without the presence of Moscow is “an absurd action and a waste of time, which is why many countries do not want to waste their time.”
