PNN – Prominent political and religious figures in Pakistan condemned the US and British attacks on Yemen and the resumption of the Zionist regime’s aggression on Gaza, calling for immediate action by the international community to stop the crimes of Israel and the US in the region.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, The seminar honoring the martyrs was held in Islamabad by the Sech TV news network, and the speakers spoke about the common challenges of the Islamic world, the Zionist regime’s aggression against the people of Gaza, the invasion of the United States and its allies against Yemen, and the fight against terrorism.
A seminar in solidarity with Gaza was also held in Islamabad, hosted by the Palestine Support Foundation and attended by prominent Pakistani political and media figures.
Allama Syed Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi, member of the Council of Islamic Ideology and head of Pakistan’s Truth TV network, Majid Meshki, cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in Islamabad, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former Prime Minister of the country, Harmit Singh, journalist and researcher on Palestinian issues, Sabir Abu Maryam, Secretary General of the Palestine Support Foundation, and Razi Tahir, a Pakistani media activist, were among the main speakers of these two programs.
Condemning the resumption of the Zionist regime’s brutal aggression against Gaza, they criticized the silence of the international community, including the rulers of the countries in the region, regarding the aggression against the Palestinians and the people of Yemen.
The speakers emphasized the need for unity in the Islamic world against foreign conspiracies, especially the complicity of America and Europe in the crimes of the Zionist regime, and called for the Islamic Ummah to play a role in stopping these aggressions.
Pakistani figures called on their government to officially celebrate International Quds Day as a national event and to adopt stronger and more explicit positions in support of the Palestinians and renunciation of the aggressor regimes.
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry condemns Israeli aggression in Gaza
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued a statement strongly condemning the deadly Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 400 innocent Palestinians, most of whom were women and children.
The statement said: This horrific and aggressive act by the Israeli occupation regime during the holy month of Ramadan is a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement and represents a dangerous escalation of a situation that is once again destabilizing the entire region.
The Pakistani government called on the international community to play its role in immediately stopping the crimes of the Zionist regime and resuming diplomatic efforts to establish immediate and lasting peace in Gaza and the Middle East.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced in its latest statistics that 413 Palestinians have been martyred and dozens are missing since this morning, following the Israeli regime’s violation of the ceasefire and the start of a new round of attacks.
