Pakistani media reports the failure of the Mossad project against Islamabad.

Hamid Mir, a prominent journalist and anchor of Geo News, referring to the recent reaction of the Pakistani government to the rumor spreading against President Asif Ali Zardari and that he was going to be removed from office and replaced by the army chief, said: This was an Israeli project led by the Mossad service to destroy and assassinate the personality of the power troika in Islamabad, namely Zardari-Shehbaz-Munir, which was revealed.

He stated: Zardari’s positions during his first term as president between 2008 and 2013 were against any Pakistani joining the Syrian opposition camp and trying to reconcile Tehran and Riyadh with the help of China, which caused the Mossad to resort to internal chaos and a personality assassination scenario against this politician.

Hamid Mir continued: After the Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran began, the power troika in Islamabad, namely President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, and Army Commander Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, stood strongly with Iran and supported their neighbor against the Zionist attack, which led to new moves by Mossad to create political instability in Pakistan.

The Pakistani media figure said: “At the same time as the Mossad conspiracy, even some foreign powers were trying to pressure Pakistan’s political-military leadership to back down from their positions in supporting Iran, but this [strategy] also failed.”

He added: “Recent rumors about differences between the power troika in Islamabad and the pressure from the army leadership on the president to resign and replace him with General Syed Asim Munir also indicate a new attempt by Mossad, which of course the Pakistani government thwarted in time and informed the people about the conspiracy of the “hostile intelligence service.”

According to IRNA, last week, Pakistani Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi strongly rejected recent rumors about demands for the resignation of the country’s president and his replacement with the army chief, and warned those spreading disinformation and their collusion with hostile foreign services.”

“We say to those involved in this false narrative, do whatever you want with the cooperation of the hostile foreign service, and we will do whatever is necessary to make Pakistan strong again,” he said.
