Pakistani newspaper: Israel is angry with US decisions.

The English-language newspaper Dawn wrote in its editorial today under the title US-Israel relations: As Trump’s visit to Riyadh comes, questions are being raised about whether the US president has refused to toe the Tel Aviv line in the Middle East and whether he is pursuing an independent regional policy.

This is an important issue because Israel has enjoyed bipartisan support in Washington for decades, and very few American politicians dare to take a stand against Tel Aviv.

The editorial continued: There are several signs that the Trump administration is charting its course towards Israel. For example, the US secured the release of an American-Israeli hostage by negotiating with the Palestinian group (Hamas) and bypassing Israel.

Moreover, as he pursues multi-billion-dollar business deals in the Persian Gulf, Trump has reportedly dropped his demand for Riyadh to recognize Tel Aviv. The Saudis have said that normalization of relations will only be possible if Israel commits to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, which currently seems impossible given the Zionist regime’s genocide in Gaza.

Washington has also established a ceasefire with Yemen, which is also on the US list of so-called “terrorists,” which has greatly angered Israel.

The Yemenis have fired missiles into Israel (the occupied territories) in defense of Gaza, while Tel Aviv has carried out brutal bombings against the Yemeni people, wrote Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper.

The ongoing [indirect] negotiations between the United States and Iran are also probably one of the biggest challenges for Tel Aviv. Although Trump has made provocative statements, he has publicly said that he prefers a deal with Tehran. Therefore, all these seemingly independent American decisions have caused a lot of anger among Israelis.
