PNN – The political leaders and religious figures of Pakistan called the people of this country to participate enthusiastically in the World Quds Day marches and emphasized: The freedom of Palestine requires the unity of Muslims, and silence in the face of Zionist crimes in Gaza is not permissible.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, coinciding with the third decade of the holy month of Ramadan and being on the threshold of the International Quds Day, solidarity meetings with Palestine and explanation of the Quds Liberation Movement were held in Islamabad by Pakistani religious parties and groups.
In this regard, the Quds Freedom Conference was hosted by the Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen Party, the National Solidarity Council of Pakistan, a meeting to honor the martyrs of Palestine and Kashmir was hosted by SACH TV, and a solidarity seminar with Palestine was hosted by the Palestine Support Foundation in Pakistan.
Prominent political, religious figures, civil activists and members of the media of Pakistan during their speeches in these programs emphasized their commitment to defend the aspirations of the Palestinian nation, shed light on the crimes of the occupying Israeli regime and their supporters in Gaza, and resist any compromise conspiracy with Israel in Pakistan.
Reza Amiri Moghadam, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Majid Meshki, the Cultural Advisor of the Iranian Embassy, ​​and Atta Tarer, the Minister of Information of the Government of Pakistan, also participated in the conference honoring the martyrs of Palestine.
Senator Allameh Nasir Abbas Jafari, Chairman of Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen Party, considered supporting Palestine against the occupation of the Zionist regime as a strategic issue for the Islamic world and emphasized: Today, the hated face of America and its allies for supporting Israel’s crimes against humanity has been disgraced in front of the nations of the world.
He called for more effective actions of the Pakistani government in supporting the oppressed Palestinian nation, sending more aid to the people of Gaza and actively participating in international forums to put pressure on the Zionist regime to establish a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Ali Muhammad Khan, a representative of the Justice Movement Party in Pakistan’s Parliament, said: “World Quds Day is a manifestation of the unity of the Muslims of the world to defend Palestine and one voice against Israel.”
He added: The issue of Palestine does not recognize Sunnis and Shiites, but the unity of the Islamic Ummah and placing all of us under the banner of Islam and the Quran is the key to strengthening the Palestinian resistance front and confronting the enemies of Islam.
Allama Seyed Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi, the head of Pakistan’s SACH TV news channel, at the meeting to honor the martyrs of Palestine and Kashmir, paying tribute to the dignity of Imam Khomeini (RA) and his historic order to commemorate the World Quds Day on the last Friday of Ramadan, said: International Quds Day is a day when the world supports the oppressed people of Palestine and express their anger against the unclean Zionist regime.
He emphasized: We demand the immediate implementation of the UN Security Council resolution to establish a ceasefire in Gaza. The Muslims of the world demand the withdrawal of the Zionists from the occupied Palestinian territories as soon as possible.
This religious personality of Pakistan demanded from the government of this country to celebrate the World Quds Day at the national and national level.
Saber Abu Maryam, Secretary General of the Foundation for the Support of Palestine in Pakistan, also said during a speech at the solidarity conference with Palestine in Islamabad: Thanks to the historical initiative of Imam Khomeini and the intelligent measures of the Palestinian resistance axis, the world is moving towards a geography without Israel, because Muslims have gained power and the Zionist regime is no longer able to stand against the cores of Islamic resistance.
He added: Palestine and today’s battle of Quds fighters in Gaza is the standard of right and wrong. The Islamic world must move forward to solve this common concern and stand against the conspiracies that aim to weaken Palestine and wipe out the resistance front.
