Pakistani press highlights Supreme Leader’s message: Iran will not yield to America.
Geo News Network website wrote: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized in his latest statements that his country will not give in to US pressure and nuclear demands.
The report states: Ayatollah Khamenei said that there are no more negotiations with the US and Iran will not give in to its nuclear demands.
The English-language newspaper News, published in Islamabad, wrote: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran said that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not give in to the US and the process of uranium enrichment in Iran will continue.
News added: Ayatollah Khamenei said that this is not a negotiation but a dictation. These negotiations are of no benefit to the country because the United States has already determined the outcome – namely, the shutdown of Iran’s nuclear enrichment program.
The Pakistani newspaper wrote: Defending the right of Iran to enrich uranium, the Iranian leader said that enrichment affects various aspects of people’s lives, including agriculture, the environment, electricity, medicine, industries and other areas.
The Urdu-language newspaper Jang quoted the Supreme Leader as saying last night: “In the current situation, negotiations with the United States are against Iran’s interests, so there are no negotiations with the Americans.”
The newspaper added: “Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that Iran has no need for nuclear weapons and has no intention of producing them, but we will not submit to any pressure to enrich uranium.”
The Dawn News Network website in Islamabad wrote: “Ayatollah Khamenei announced in a televised speech that Iran will never surrender to American demands for uranium enrichment.”
