Pakistani Prime Minister Condemns Israeli Attack on Al-Samoud Aid Flotilla.
Shahbaz Sharif wrote on his official account on the X social network on Thursday morning: Pakistan strongly condemns the cowardly attack by Israeli forces on forty ships, including the Gaza aid flotilla called Al-Samoud, carrying more than 450 aid workers from 44 countries.
Expressing solidarity with the crew of the Al-Samoud aid flotilla, he called for their immediate release, adding: The crime of these people is only to support the Palestinians.
The Pakistani Prime Minister emphasized: This Israeli brutality must end. Peace must be given a chance, and humanitarian aid must reach those in need.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday night that it had stopped six ships from the Al-Samoud flotilla and that their passengers were being transferred to a port in the occupied territories.
The crew of the Al-Samoud announced that Israel used water cannons in the attack on the ships.
The Al-Samoud flotilla includes more than 50 ships carrying humanitarian and medical aid for Gaza, with 534 activists from 44 countries present.
A five-member group from Pakistan, led by Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, a former member of the country’s Senate and head of the “Save Gaza” popular movement, is also among the members of the main Samood flotilla convoy.
