Pakistani Prime Minister: Freedom and welfare of Palestinians are Islamabad’s top priorities.
The Pakistani Prime Minister wrote in a message on the social network X (formerly Twitter) that the Sharm el-Sheik meeting held on Monday could lead to a significant development in the path to resolving the crisis.
Referring to the humanitarian situation in Gaza, he stressed that an immediate end to the genocidal campaign against the people of Gaza is vital for Pakistan.
The Pakistani Prime Minister emphasized that his country will always place the freedom, dignity, and well-being of the Palestinian people at the top of its priorities, adding: The establishment of a strong and viable Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital will remain the cornerstone of Pakistan’s policy towards the Middle East.
King of Jordan previously emphasized in statements that without the resumption of the peace process that leads to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, the Middle East will have a dark and gloomy fate.
Abdullah II said: “So far, we have witnessed numerous failed attempts at peace, and the only solution to the problem is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.”
He added: “I do not trust Benjamin Netanyahu’s words, but there are those in Israel with whom Arab rulers can work on peace.”
Indirect negotiations between Hamas and the Zionist regime to establish a ceasefire in Gaza began on Monday, October 14, 1404, in the coastal city of Sharm el-Sheik, Egypt.
