Pakistani scholars urge army to support Palestine, resist Gaza troop deployment.
These scholars and prominent religious figures considered supporting the Palestinian people and supporting this nation’s fight against the Zionist regime a duty of faith for all Muslims and emphasized the continued support for the fighters of Jerusalem.
Pakistani scholars condemned the continuation of Israeli crimes against Gaza despite the so-called Gaza ceasefire plan and called on Islamic countries to refrain from sending troops to Gaza.
They addressed the Pakistani army and declared: We should not succumb to external pressure to send troops to Gaza or under the pretext of peace, and we should never join any action to disarm the Hamas resistance movement.
Pakistani religious leaders, expressing concern about the continued tensions between this country and the Afghan Taliban, called for restraint on both sides and for preventing enemies from exploiting the current situation.
They also demanded that the Afghan caretaker government not allow terrorist elements to use the country’s territory against its neighbors.
