Pakistan’s emphasis on the key role of Iran and Saudi Arabia in helping the Palestinian nation

PNN – The Minister of Religious Affairs of Pakistan, emphasizing the position of the Islamic world, including the key role of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia in helping to resolve the Palestinian conflict, condemned the continuation of the crimes of the Zionist regime and called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, from the public relations of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Religions of Pakistan, Aniq Ahmed condemned the aggressions of the Israeli occupying army against the defenseless people of Palestine during a meeting with the Palestinian ambassador to Pakistan in Islamabad.

He considered the role of the influential countries of the Islamic world, including Iran, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, as key to helping the Palestinian nation and stated that a delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation consisting of its important members should take steps to put pressure on the Zionist regime, whose most important goal should be to establish an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

Emphasizing the strong and unlimited positions of the Pakistani government and people in supporting the Palestinian struggle for freedom and the formation of an independent Palestinian state with Quds Sharif as its capital, Aniq Ahmad said: Islamabad will continue to provide political, diplomatic and moral support to the aspirations of the Palestinian nation.

On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza against the positions of the Israeli regime, and finally, on November 24, 2023, a four-day temporary ceasefire was established, or the pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel.

This pause in the war continued for seven days and finally (December 1, 2023) the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks against Gaza. In order to make up for its failure and stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area.

Health authorities in Gaza say that the number of Palestinian casualties during the five-month war has reached more than 30,000.
