Islamabad: Condemning Israeli and US aggression against Iran, defending Palestine
This is the first visit of the Foreign Minister of the Pakistani government of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the United States since the beginning of Donald Trump’s second term. Earlier, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Commander of the Pakistani Army, had met with President Donald Trump on an official visit to the United States on June 18 this year.
The visit of the high-ranking diplomat of the Islamabad government to the United States comes at a time when the crimes of the Zionist regime against the Palestinians continue with the support of the United States and the complicity of Western countries, and Pakistan has repeatedly condemned the silence of the supporters of the Zionist regime regarding the genocide in Gaza and the expansion of Israeli aggression in the region, especially against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The spokesperson for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said yesterday during his weekly press conference in Islamabad that the country’s Foreign Minister will raise important regional and global issues, especially the recent developments after Israel’s aggression against Iran, with his American counterpart.
