The spokesperson for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said: We condemn the latest military offensive by the Israeli regime aimed at creating new security corridors, including the illegal occupation of the Morag Corridor and the annexation of more Palestinian territory.
He stated: The deliberate targeting of the UN clinic in Jabalia, which was sheltering more than 700 displaced civilians, demonstrates the Israeli regime’s blatant disregard for international law and humanitarian principles. These actions, coupled with the Israeli occupation regime’s clear intention to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from their land, constitute a war crime under international law.
Shafqat Ali Khan added: The brutal attack by the Israeli occupying forces on Al-Aqsa Mosque during Eid al-Fitr is of particular concern. This provocative act not only violates the sanctity of one of the holiest places for Muslims in the world, but also demonstrates the Zionists’ determination to escalate tensions and pursue their expansionist agenda at the expense of regional peace.
He said: Pakistan once again reiterates its unwavering support for the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and calls for the establishment of an independent, stable, and contiguous Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital.
The spokesperson for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry stressed: The international community must act decisively to prevent further loss of innocent lives and protect the sanctity of holy places.
