Pakistan’s Information Minister advocates for enhanced media cooperation with Iran.
From the Public Relations Statement of the Ministry of Information of Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar stated in a speech in Islamabad in the presence of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan and the Iranian media delegation that the prosperity, stability and growth of the nations are the common vision of Iran and Pakistan.
He said that in today’s ceremony, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation was signed between the Pakistan National Television (PTV) and the Iranian National Television (Sada and Sima), which provided a constructive atmosphere for the development of media cooperation between the two brotherly and neighboring countries.
Attaullah Tarar emphasized: The nations of Iran and Pakistan have proven over the years that they are resilient and determined to achieve great achievements.
He considered Allama Iqbal Lahori as a common cultural heritage and an important factor in strengthening the people-to-people ties between Iran and Pakistan, and added: We are very pleased that our friendly relations with Iran are strengthening more and more with the passage of time.
A statement from the Pakistani Ministry of Information stated that Ms. Fatima Sheikh, Chief Executive Officer of the National Television of Pakistan, and the Deputy Head of the National Television Organization of Iran (Sada and Sima) signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation.
According to IRNA, in late August 1402, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation was signed between the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), as the country’s official news agency, at the end of the 21st session of the Joint Economic Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan in Islamabad.
