PNN – Pakistan’s interior minister, announcing Islamabad’s readiness to join a transparent and independent investigation into the recent attack on tourists in India, said that his country has information about the presence of Israeli nationals in Indian-controlled Kashmir and is investigating it.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Syed Mohsin Naqvi announced today at a press conference in Islamabad that Pakistan will continue to support the Muslim people of Kashmir.
Stating that Pakistan wants peace, he said: We are focused on strengthening our domestic economy, but at the same time we are ready to respond to any external threat.
Gunmen opened fire on a group of tourists in the tourist area of ​​Palgham, about 90 kilometers from Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir, killing at least 26 people. Indian officials described the incident as a terrorist attack. India alleged Pakistani involvement in the attack, a charge Islamabad denied.

The Pakistani interior minister added that Islamabad has serious concerns about New Delhi’s credibility in conducting a fair investigation, so we want an impartial and independent body to lead this investigation.
He emphasized: Pakistan is fully prepared to cooperate with any impartial inspector to ensure the discovery of the truth and the implementation of justice.
Naqvi also accused India of planning terrorist acts in Pakistan and claimed that we have information indicating the presence of Israeli nationals in the Srinagar area (the summer capital of Kashmir on the Indian side), and Islamabad is also investigating it.
He added: Pakistan remains committed to peace, stability, and adherence to international norms, but will not compromise on its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister has already spoken by phone to his counterparts from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the recent tensions with India.
