Pakistan’s measures ahead of Imran Khan supporters’ demonstration in Islamabad.
According to Anadolu Agency, Pakistani police and security forces have taken strict security measures in Islamabad ahead of a demonstration by supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Pakistani police issued a statement regarding the demonstration by supporters of Imran Khan to be held in Islamabad tomorrow, Sunday, announcing that some roads in the Pakistani capital will be closed on Sunday.
Police have also urged Islamabad residents to refrain from making unnecessary trips.
Imran Khan’s supporters are preparing to hold a large demonstration to protest the imprisonment of the former Pakistani Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will also visit Pakistan from November 25 to 27 (Monday to Wednesday of this week).
The Islamabad High Court has previously issued a ruling declaring the possible demonstration by Imran Khan’s supporters illegal.
