PNN – By passing a resolution, the members of the Pakistani Parliament condemned the action of the US Congress to charge against the elections and interfere in the internal affairs of their country and asked Washington to focus on human rights violations in Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Pakistan’s national television, the representatives of the national parliament of this country unanimously passed a resolution condemning the US intervention and rejecting the resolution of the Congress of this country regarding the accusations against Pakistan’s elections and the demand for a transparent investigation.
In this resolution, it is stated that Pakistan is an independent and free country and its people will never be burdened by foreign interference.
They considered the claim of the American Congress against the election process and the political procedure of Pakistan to be unfounded and asked the American side to focus on the violation of human rights against the Palestinians and the situation in Gaza.

The parliamentarians of Pakistan also emphasized that millions of people of this country freely used their right to participate in the elections and the resolution of the US Congress is contrary to the facts.
Earlier, in his weekly press conference in Islamabad, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan expressed his regret over the arbitrary action of the US Congress in approving the resolution against Pakistan’s elections and announced that Islamabad has conveyed its serious concerns to Washington and expects that no other country will intervene in Pakistan’s internal affairs.
Pakistan’s defense minister said in a sharp reaction to the US House of Representatives’ stance against the country’s elections: America has spent the 20th century overthrowing democratic governments and is now facilitating the genocide of Palestinians.
