Palestine is the biggest victim of America’s breach of treaties; from Camp David to the Deal of the Century.
In the few weeks since Donald Trump assumed the presidency of the United States, the market for discussion and speculation about possible Tehran-Washington negotiations has been hot; negotiations that had previously begun indirectly, despite opposition, and led to the “Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action” (JCPOA), but Trump unilaterally withdrew from it during his first term in office, despite Iran’s constructive cooperation, and imposed the most severe anti-Iranian sanctions in the form of “maximum pressure” on Tehran.
In this regard, on Friday morning (February 19), the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, in a gathering of commanders and staff of the Air Force and Air Defense, considered it necessary to use the experience of “two years of negotiations, concessions, and concessions but without concluding,” and added: The United States violated the same treaty despite its shortcomings and withdrew from it. Therefore, negotiating with such a government is unwise, unintelligent, and dishonorable, and one should not negotiate with it.
In addition to the JCPOA, a historical look at the history of America’s commitments and treaties with other countries in the world reveals the futility and even harm of these talks, as evidenced by the numerous broken and unfinished treaties between America and Palestine.
Repeated breach of promise and contradictory policies of America toward Palestine
The Palestinian issue is one of the most complex international crises in which America, as one of the main actors, has played an important role. Over the decades, America has repeatedly intervened in the form of mediation, presenting peace plans, and supporting negotiations between the Zionist regime and the Palestinians. However, history shows that Washington has repeatedly violated its commitments and adopted unilateral policies in line with the interests of the Zionist regime and to the detriment of the Palestinian side.
Just as the recent crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza were carried out under the banner of the United States, in recent decades the world has witnessed the open support of the United States for the aggressions of this fake regime. Since the establishment of the Zionist regime in 1948, the United States has been one of the most important supporters of this regime in the military, economic, and diplomatic fields, which has practically changed the balance of power in favor of Tel Aviv. At the same time, the United States has claimed to act as an impartial mediator in resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, but Washington’s policies in violating its commitments have always proven the opposite of this claim.
