Palestinian Ambassador: Israel’s crimes are not justified by any standards/insisting on an immediate ceasefire in Gaza

PNN – The ambassador of the Palestinian Authority in London, pointing out that the barbaric crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza cannot be justified by any standard, called for an immediate ceasefire in this area.

According to Pakistan News Network, Hossam Zamlat said in an interview with the BBC news channel: The developments in Gaza have nothing to do with the October 7 attack (Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement) and nothing justifies the killing of civilians in Palestine.

He continued by stating that “more than 6,500 civilians have been killed in Palestine so far, of which 2,200 were children”: Nothing justifies bombing an entire civilian area, cutting off water, electricity, food and fuel for hospitals; We hear the cries of those trapped under the rubble, but we have no relief equipment and our treatment department is going bankrupt. Nothing justifies these attacks and what is happening now does not meet any standards.

Pointing out that the world is going through a dark period, the Palestinian ambassador in London noted: “Since the conflicts started, we have asked for an immediate ceasefire, but the world cannot even ask for a ceasefire.” On the other hand, some Western governments, including the United States and England, want a break. What does pause mean? It means (Tel Aviv) to stop war crimes against humanity? Really?

He continued: Then the Prime Minister of England claims that Israel has the right to defend itself? Is it the right of self-defense to threaten the lives of 130 babies who are kept in the nursery by cutting off the fuel supply to the hospital? Moving a million Palestinians from the north to the south of Gaza and then bombing them is the right of self-defense? All these are war crimes and the world community is watching.

In response to a question about the position of Western governments regarding Tel Aviv’s alleged right to defend itself, Zamlat said: Which right? Netanyahu, who is a war criminal, says he killed a thousand Hamas fighters, but everyone knows he is lying; everyone knows that he killed thousands of Palestinian children. He has destroyed our families, mosques, churches and schools.

He stated that the Zionist regime should be held accountable for the war crimes in Gaza, and clarified that the international community has failed in the Palestine issue.

Western support for the Zionist regime under the pretext of self-defense is practically a green light and a license for the Zionist regime to continue the brutal killing of Palestinian children and women.
