Palestinian analyst: Hajj Qassem Soleimani engineered the axis of resistance.

Palestinian analyst: Hajj Qassem Soleimani engineered the axis of resistance.

“Saleh Abu Izzah,” a Palestinian lawyer and political analyst, said in an interview with IRNA: Hajj Qassem Soleimani is one of the most important pivotal figures in the resistance, whose presence and influence have extended to every country that has suffered from occupation, rebellion, or Takfiris.

He said: Hajj Qassem was a figure who, just as he was present in the fields of resistance, without exception, also attracted the attention of two enemies, Israeli and American; enemies who viewed him as a complete and integrated project against their domination and influence in the Arab and Islamic region.

Abu Izzah added: Martyr Soleimani is one of the main pillars of supporting stability in West Asia against the “creative chaos” that the United States and the Zionist regime have created, directly or through their own means. In support of the return of security, peace, and stability to the Arab and Islamic region, he had a clear role and a profound impact in confronting this project and tried to thwart and destroy it.

He continued: It is said about a commander like Soleimani: He fought in all fields, fought jihad on all fronts, and his gaze was fixed on nothing but Palestine and Jerusalem. His clean hands are known by the Palestinians, and his standing with the Palestinian people and its resistance is engraved with blood; for this reason, the martyr Commander Ismail Haniyeh bestowed upon him the title of “Martyr of Jerusalem,” and since that day, Martyr Soleimani has been known by this name.

This Palestinian analyst clarified: Martyr Soleimani founded a school that not only influenced the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran, but its influence and effect spread to all resistance forces in Palestine, around Palestine, and throughout West Asia. His school is a comprehensive school of stability and perseverance that stands like a nail firmly in the ground and like mountains that stand against the winds of evil.

The role of Martyr Soleimani in the fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria

Abu Izza also emphasized the role of General Soleimani in the fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria: When the wave of Takfiriism began in Iraq with the support of the United States and the Zionist regime, Martyr Soleimani was the first to arrive in Iraq, and his presence alongside the resistance fighters and mujahideen was felt at all points of field contact.

He continued: He was not absent from the Syrian scene either; a scene that the arrogant West was trying to transfer from the resistance front to under the umbrella of American domination. Martyr General Hajj Qassem Soleimani was also present in all the operational management rooms of the battles against the Zionist regime on the Lebanese and Gaza fronts.

The Palestinian analyst continued: “The Zionist project is not directly led by Israeli hands in many cases, but rather through tools that are used to divide societies, sow discord in fractured societies, and divide countries in crisis. Here, the role of Hajj Qassem stands out; the one who wanted to thwart this project, and the resistance of Baghdad and Damascus against the takfiri tyrants and the tools of new colonialism is due to this approach.

He said: “Because of the thwarting of this central project, Israel and America sought to assassinate and eliminate him; on the basis that ending his life would lead to the end of the resistance project against Washington and Tel Aviv, but the reality is that Hajj Qassem’s friends, children, and students are still true to their word and have never changed.”

Martyr Soleimani was the engineer of the axis of resistance

Abu Ezza also emphasized Martyr Soleimani being called the “Engineer of the Axis of Resistance”: The axis of resistance has many central figures, and in every field, there is a symbol and a commander around whom people gather; but the one who was the symbol of all these fields at once is the martyr commander Hajj Qassem Soleimani.

In explaining this, he added: Therefore, it is natural and realistic to give the title of ‘Engineer of the Axis of Resistance’ to Martyr Soleimani; the engineer of its combat fronts and the engineer of the Mohammadi-Alawite spirit in the minds and hearts of the men of the axis of resistance. Despite the passage of several years since his assassination, his presence is still evident, and if we had previously won with his body and presence, today we achieve victory with his blood and martyrdom.
