Palestinian diplomat: Gaza is now hell on earth.
The representative of Palestine in the United Nations said during a speech at the Security Council on Tuesday morning that there is no safe place for the residents of the Gaza Strip.
Riyad Mansour, representative of the Palestinian Authority in the United Nations, said on Tuesday morning during a speech at the Security Council meeting that there is no safe place for the residents of the Gaza Strip.
“Gaza is now hell on earth,” Mansour said, stating that most of the population of Gaza has been displaced due to the attacks of the Zionist interim regime.
Requesting the Security Council to issue a resolution to enforce a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, he stated: “3,500 Palestinian children were killed, which means one Palestinian child every 5 minutes. “Thousands of [wounded] Palestinians are also dying.”
This Palestinian diplomat further asked: “Don’t the Palestinian people have the right to live freely and defend themselves?” Why do some members of the Security Council approve Israel’s right to defend itself without mentioning the Palestinians?”
The members of the United Nations Security Council gathered on Tuesday morning to hold an emergency meeting regarding the critical situation in the Gaza Strip and the continuation of the criminal attacks of the Zionist interim regime on this area at the request of the United Arab Emirates.
Palestinian sources reported on Tuesday morning that 8306 people were martyred and 21 thousand 48 were injured after 23 days of non-stop attacks by the Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip.
