Palestinian experts: Netanyahu unlikely to resume full-scale war against Gaza.
These experts emphasize that any Israeli action to create widespread tension is only possible with Washington’s consent.
In this regard, Omar Ja’ara believes that the resumption of the war against the Gaza Strip by the Netanyahu cabinet after the handover of the Israeli prisoners and their bodies is not possible because US President Donald Trump has supervised the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, and therefore, any widespread attack on Gaza will not be feasible for Netanyahu.
He added that the US did not agree to a complete violation of this agreement, that Trump insists on implementing the second phase, and that is why he has sent Steve Whittaker, the US special envoy for the Middle East, and Jared Kushner, his son-in-law, to the region to preserve it.
On the other hand, “Adel Shadid”, another Palestinian expert, emphasizes that Netanyahu’s return to a widespread war against the Gaza Strip is only possible in the event of a major regional development and requires the consent of the American side.
He emphasized that the decision in this regard is not only in the hands of Netanyahu and his cabinet, but that the US also plays an important role.
According to IRNA, Barak Ravid, a Zionist journalist for the American website Axios, previously reported on the US President’s warning to the Israeli Prime Minister, and quoted a senior American official as saying that “if Netanyahu fails the agreement, Donald Trump will also fail and overthrow Netanyahu.”
According to the Zionist journalist, the American official, noting that “Netanyahu is walking a thin rope with the US President,” warned that “if he continues this process, he will ultimately lead to the failure of the agreement (ceasefire) himself.”
