Palestinian Ministry of Health: So far, medical aid has not reached the hospitals in northern Gaza.

In an interview with Al Jazeera news channel, the Director General of the Gaza Ministry of Health said on Monday, on the fourth day of the ceasefire between the Zionist regime and the Palestinian resistance movement, that we demand the transfer of fuel to the hospitals in the north of the Gaza Strip.

He added that medical aid has not reached the hospitals in northern Gaza until now.

The Director General of the Gaza Ministry of Health continued: Medical staff should return to Gaza and North Gaza hospitals with international support.

In this regard, the spokesperson of the urban defense in Gaza said: “There are still a large number of bodies of martyrs around Al-Quds hospital in Gaza, and it is not possible to bury them.”

The spokesman of the urban defense in Gaza noted that we have not received any aid, and no amount of fuel has reached us. He added: We need Arab urban defense teams with their equipment to help.

On Friday, after nearly 50 days of brutal aggression by the Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip, a four-day temporary ceasefire was established in this region. According to this agreement, it was agreed that any military actions of both sides would be stopped during the ceasefire.

It was also agreed that for every Israeli prisoner, 3 Palestinian women and children will be released, and 50 Israeli prisoners will be released during the 4 days of the temporary ceasefire.

It is also supposed to send 200 trucks of food and medical equipment to all areas in the Gaza Strip. According to this agreement, 4 trucks of fuel and liquefied gas (for cooking) will be sent to Gaza daily.

While this ceasefire is in its final hours, many sources are talking about its extension, and Qatar, as one of the main mediators in carrying out the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, has announced its efforts to extend it.
