PNN – The Palestinian Prisoners Club announced in a statement regarding the situation of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons: Approximately 10,000 Palestinian prisoners are still held in harsh conditions in the occupation regime’s prisons, exposed to repressive policies, and deprived of the most basic human rights.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Shahab News Agency, the statement states: Of these, 3,405 prisoners are in temporary detention.
The statement adds: Also, 350 children, 21 women, and 1,555 prisoners from the Gaza Strip are being held in Israeli prisons.
According to the statement, more than 15,640 arrests have been monitored since the start of the war in October 2023 until the beginning of March 2025.

The statement added: The resistance was able to release 1,777 prisoners within the framework of the first phase of the Al-Aqsa Storm agreement, including 285 prisoners serving life sentences and 280 prisoners serving long-term sentences of over 10 years.
According to the statement, 62 Palestinian prisoners were martyred in Israeli prisons during the same period, 40 of whom were from Gaza.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club previously stated in a report that the occupiers do not hesitate to use any means to humiliate, suppress, and torture Palestinian prisoners and their families.
The report continues: The Zionist regime’s prison organization continues to torture prisoners, while all institutions of the occupying regime threaten prisoners and their families.
According to this report, the aim of all these crimes and threats, which are not limited to killing and depriving prisoners of their freedom, is to damage the position of Palestinian prisoners in Palestinian public opinion.
