Palestinian representative in the United Nations: We will never be destroyed

PNN – Riyad Mansour, the representative of Palestine in the United Nations, said in his speech at the Security Council of this organization that “we will never be destroyed.”

According to Pakistan News Network’s report from “Al Jazeera English”, he asked the Security Council to take action regarding the famine crisis in Gaza.

Mansour said to the members of the United Nations Security Council: “Let’s think. Israel has implemented famine as a method of war for the purpose of ethnic cleansing and furthering its colonial goals.

He added: Everything that we warned about, everything that Israel denied is happening before our eyes. We are in the final stages of a coordinated plan to evacuate vast areas of Gaza from its Palestinian population.

Mansour also condemned Israel’s plan to annex the occupied West Bank and said: The Palestinian people are once again facing death, dispossession and displacement, but we repeat, we will not disappear. We are rooted in our land like olive trees.

The United Nations warned on Tuesday of a significant reduction in humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, especially the “catastrophic” situation in its north.

On October 13, the US gave the Israeli regime a deadline to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza. This deadline expires today, Tuesday or Wednesday, but it is not clear what action Washington will take due to Tel Aviv’s refusal to comply with this request.

The United Nations Office of Humanitarian Aid recently announced that Israel’s one-month attack on northern Gaza has prevented the delivery of essential goods to the region, and now 75,000 to 95,000 people in Gaza are in urgent need of aid.

The Zionist regime has started a devastating war against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. During this period, 70% of the houses and infrastructures in the Gaza Strip have been severely damaged, and the miserable siege and severe humanitarian crisis, along with the unprecedented famine and hunger, threaten the lives of the residents of this area.

Despite all these crimes, the Zionist regime has admitted that after 13 months of the invasion of Gaza, it has not yet been able to achieve its goals of this war, which is to destroy the Hamas movement and return the Zionist prisoners from the Gaza Strip.
