Palestinian resistance groups condemn aggression against Venezuela.
According to Al-Mayadeen, the Islamic Jihad Movement condemned the US aggression against the Republic of Venezuela and the targeting of the country’s capital, Caracas, and its loyal people.
The movement’s statement said: “The US’s aggressive actions are a continuation of its imperialist policies to bring nations to their knees and plunder their wealth; Venezuela was targeted because of its positions in steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and resistance groups.”
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine also strongly condemned the US imperialist aggression against Venezuela, adding: “We declare our full and unlimited support for Venezuela, led by its militant President Nicolas Maduro. Venezuela, which has always supported the oppressed, is paying the price for its principled positions in opposing domination and colonialism.”
The Hamas movement also emphasized: We strongly condemn the US aggression against Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, and we consider it a dangerous violation of international law.
According to IRNA, US President Donald Trump previously claimed that during Washington’s extensive attacks on Venezuela, President Nicolas Maduro and his wife were arrested and removed from Venezuela.
In response to the US attack, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil Pinto sent an official letter to the United Nations, calling for an urgent meeting of the Security Council, calling this action an aggression against its sovereignty and national security.
