Zionist Minister: We should not fall into the dangerous trap of intermediaries.

The mayor of Nagasaki was pressured by the West for not inviting the Zionist regime to the ceremony of the 79th anniversary of the atomic bombing of this country.

Shiro Suzuki, the mayor of Nagasaki city, stated today that not inviting Israel to the 79th anniversary ceremony of the atomic bombing of this city was without political motivation and this decision will not be changed.

Kyodo added: Nagasaki mayor’s statement comes a day after the criticism of the representatives of the United States, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy and the European Union. In the middle of July, they had announced by sending a letter about this, “If Israel is removed from this event, it will be difficult for us to attend at a high level.”

Therefore, according to the report, the representatives of the West had declared in this letter that “this action could result in Israel being included on par with countries such as Russia and Belarus, which were not invited to this ceremony due to the war in Ukraine.”

Ram Emanuel, the American ambassador to Japan, wrote in a letter addressed to the mayor of Nagasaki in response to this action: I believe that your decision in this regard was political and considering the invitees in this event, this issue has nothing to do with security aspects. As I am sure you are aware, I will not be the only ambassador who will not be attending this year’s Nagasaki ceremony.

This report adds that “Julia Longbottom”, the British ambassador to Japan, also emphasized in recent days that in response to this decision, she will not attend the anniversary ceremony of this bombing and will send a representative at a lower consular level in her place.

On August 9, 1945, three days after the atomic attack on Hiroshima, America bombed the city of Nagasaki and left eighty thousand dead, all of whom were ordinary people.

Meanwhile, the American ambassador has put pressure on the mayor of Nagasaki for not inviting the Zionist regime, which has killed nearly 40,000 innocent Palestinians in the last 10 months.
