Palestinians’ don’t trust Biden regarding agreement’

The recent polls of Western institutions and institutions also show that, contrary to the common claims of the American foreign policy and the statesmen of this country, the Palestinian issue is suffering from a crisis of trust and acceptance among the public opinion of the Palestinians.

The latest results of a survey conducted by the Gallup Institute, which was conducted a week before the start of the Al-Aqsa storm operation, show that 70 percent of the Palestinian people do not have any confidence in the solutions of the US President Joe Biden’s government to resolve the Palestinian issue. This figure is exactly the same as the previous survey of this institute in 2007 during the presidency of George Bush, the then-president of the United States.

The results of this survey also indicate the strong opposition of the Palestinians to the two-state solution and the formation of two independent states of Palestine and Israel. According to the findings of this survey, at least 72 percent of the respondents have expressed their opposition to the two governments’ compromise solution.

This issue is in the context that in 2011, only 44% of Palestinians were against the two-state solution to end the Palestinian-Zionist conflict, but it seems that the unilateralist policies of different American presidents over the past decade and support for The continuation of the occupation and the construction of settlements in the West Bank and the continuation of the blockade of the Gaza Strip have caused the Palestinian citizens to realize more and more the futility of international efforts, especially the two-state solution to end the decades of displacement of the Palestinian nation.

Another interesting point is that the level of agreement of Palestinian citizens aged 15 to 25 with the two-state solution is even lower than the average of other age groups, and only 16% of Palestinian youth support the two-state solution, while 84% support the necessity of forming an inclusive government. Palestinians insist on independence throughout the occupied territories.
