Pelosi added: Trump’s threats to withdraw from NATO are not only short-sighted, but also a gift to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
She emphasized: The law is clear; no president can withdraw from NATO without Congressional approval.
US President Donald Trump previously called NATO a “very weak and unreliable” partner in a post on the social media platform Truth Social.
