PNN – The U.S. Secretary of Defense, without addressing his country’s numerous wars and provocations across various regions of the world, said that “America must be ready.”
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the *Economic Times*, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that the current global situation is comparable to “the days of 1939.”
Without mentioning America’s repeated acts of aggression and destabilization around the world, he added that if the U.S. wants to prevent war (!), it must start preparing now.
Hegseth said: “The current state of the world is comparable to the days of 1939. This is a 1939 moment — or perhaps I hope, a 1981 moment. It’s a time of growing danger. Enemies are gathering, threats are rising. You can feel it. I can feel it too.”
He claimed: “If the United States wants to prevent war — and that’s exactly what we want (!), we must begin preparing right now.”
The American official further added that due to what he described as “a troubling global situation,” the United States has placed its military industry on full alert.
