According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Israeli TV channel 12 and several other media outlets announced that an advisor to the office of the Israeli Minister of the Environment was severely beaten by an employee of the office.

This person, who works as an advisor in the office of Environment Minister Edith Suleiman, stated that he was beaten by an employee of the office and that he was thrown to the ground.

According to the consultant, he was beaten in the presence of the minister and a number of high-ranking officials, forcing him to seek medical attention, and for this reason, he has filed a complaint against this action at the police station.

According to Alex Shafran, a consultant to the minister’s office, the attack occurred at the end of a staff meeting held at the office on January 25, 2026. He stated that another employee pushed him hard, causing him to fall to the ground, hit a nearby wall, and complain of pain in his legs.

Shafran was treated at the hospital. He emphasized that the incident caused him physical harm and as a result, he took sick leave.

In an official letter addressed to Sarah Silman and Rami Rosin, Director General of the Ministry of Environment, Shafran described the incident, writing that the attack occurred in the presence of witnesses. The letter states that a complaint was filed with the Israel Police following the incident and that the relevant office received official confirmation.

The letter also states that among the witnesses to the incident were the director general of the ministry and Minister Silman himself, who, according to Shafran, was in his office at the time of the attack.

According to this Hebrew-language media outlet, the minister’s office has expressed ignorance of such an incident.
