Politico: The Biden administration has preferred to stand by Tel Aviv

PNN – In a report about the current state of relations between the United States and the Zionist regime regarding the Israeli army’s attack on the Gaza Strip, Politico magazine wrote: The administration of US President Joe Biden has preferred to stand by Tel Aviv.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Politico magazine report states: Despite expressing anger over the Israeli army’s attack on the World Central Kitchen Organization (WCK) convoy, Washington is only willing to issue a statement criticizing the regime’s actions.

The President of the United States has expressed his anger at the deadly attack of the Zionist regime on the convoy of the World Central Kitchen Organization in private circles. However, in the official statement he issued in this regard, he only demanded more responsibility from this regime and more cooperation and speed from Tel Aviv in the process of issuing a license for humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.

This report states: Two senior US officials, who did not want to be named, told Politico that the points contained in the official statement of the Biden administration are the last step that Washington plans to take at this time regarding the deadly Israeli attack on the convoy of the World Kitchen Organization.

Stating that Biden continues to resist pressure to condition military aid to the Zionist regime and impose other restrictions against this regime, this report adds: Currently, the American president does not intend to change his policies towards Tel Aviv in any way.

According to the report of Politico, Biden believes that making military aid to the Zionist regime conditional will cause a break in the relations between Washington and Tel Aviv, so in practice he will not use his influence on this regime to change the course of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.

The non-governmental organization “World Central Kitchen” announced in a statement that the Israeli attacks on Monday, April 1, 2024 in Gaza killed seven aid workers of the organization. Their Palestinian driver also died in this incident.

The attack happened hours after the members of this non-governmental group arrived in the Gaza Strip with a ship containing food aid and went to its northern areas.

Also, pictures of the bodies of the five dead were published in Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital in the city of “Deir al-Balah” in the center of Gaza, and some of them were wearing clothes with charity logos.

According to the organization’s statement, the dead were Australian, Polish, Canadian-American, British and Palestinian.
