Poll | 80% of the residents of occupied Palestine blame Netanyahu for the failure of the regime.
The results of a survey conducted by Ma’ariv newspaper show that 80% of the residents of occupied Palestine believe that Netanyahu should accept the responsibility for the failures that led to the attack by Hamas.
In this poll, 69 percent of those who voted for Netanyahu’s party, Likud, in last year’s general election also blame him for Israel’s failures and demand his resignation.
Only 8% of the residents of occupied Palestine do not blame Netanyahu. This survey also shows that 65% of the residents of occupied Palestine are in favor of the ground invasion of Gaza and 21% are against it.
In addition, 51 percent of the residents of occupied Palestine have agreed to a large-scale military operation on the border with Lebanon.
“These results are not good for Netanyahu,” said Alan Fisher, an Al Jazeera analyst in East Jerusalem. “Even though he is trying to show the face of a powerful person through meeting with world leaders, the public opinion here is that Netanyahu should go.”
